Henry County Fair Foundation

The Henry County Fair Foundation is a non-profit organization whose main purpose is to provide financial backing for fairground improvements.

Our Mission Statement:

To provide the vision and financial backing for fairground projects that provide a multipurpose facility that serves the needs of the community.  These facilities are for the entertainment and education of the adults and youth of the community and promote the traditions and agricultural heritage in a secure and financially responsible way.

We are currently working on four projects that the Ag Society has identified:

   They are:

      · Upgrading the electrical infrastructure step 5

      · Paying off the Jr. Fair Horse barn mortgage

      · Paying off the Jr. Fair Small Animal Barn and Arena

      · Building a new handicapped accessible restroom with showers

to allow for year round use.

We feel these projects need to be at the top of the priority list so the fairgrounds is open to more year round use.  Once these projects are completed, we will identify the next set of projects and move forward on them.  We want to have these projects completed in a few years, but need help through donations from individuals, businesses, estates, foundations, grants, etc.  We have applied for grants for some projects.

If you have a way to help, we have an informal flier. Please contact us at:

The Henry County Fairgrounds has many uses, but there is room for more.  We hope you agree it is an asset worth improving and will be able to help us with the ongoing projects.
